This course introduces you to current medical coding best practices in multiple health care settings, for various types of insurance. It’s certified by the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC), the industry’s most trusted training credential. The flexible virtual format accommodates your busy schedule, while encouraging maximum participation to reinforce key concepts. It also prepares participants to earn the industry-recognized Certified Professional Coder (CPC) credential through the AAPC. Medical coding programs certified by the AAPC have some of the highest pass rates in the health care industry, averaging 82%.
